And with the mandatory 'Lou Hei' at our place, the Chinese New Year madness is over.
Anyway, sitting in the corner tucked away with mofo and same aged cousins goss-ing about family dirt and stuffing my face full of goodies was'nt all that bad.

It's been a rather good break, having taken leave on friday and Saturday.
Got to spend some time with Shifaa and Hendri on the 1st day as the poor poppets were bored shitless, which made me realise that we 'chings' don't face the same inconvenience during Hari Raya or deepavali.
Sucks that eateries are shut, malls are closed...yada yada. When mofo and I went to catch Constantine on Thursday, it was actually nice to see people out and about in Great World when the streets the day before were devoid of the usual masses. Went to Rouge on Friday night as I really really wanted to see Electrico play live, alas, NTU decided to have their bash at Rouge that night so mofo and I bought ice cream and sat down to wait for juayster to arrive and for the NTU crowd to dissipate . Went back to rouge at midnight, they had Old skool drum and bass and it was excellent! Cheryl Fox was there and I was amazed at how tiny she really is in person, still as gorgeous but really tiny, always imagined her to be a lanky girl, but then again, we only ever get to see her waist up.

Got to verk tomorrow and verking on a Sunday is not cool.

The week ahead looks rather daunting.
Got a signing ceremony to co-ordinate, a fairly upscale do with the press and what not, another 2 projects to be finalized, loose ends to be tied up and packing up for THE MOVE. Yep, we are moving to Cecil St, right smack in the heart of the CBD. Ah, what a symbolic way to start the Lunar New Year and the fact that the reception is painted a garish chilli hue, that's really gotta add to my positive cosmic energy man!

Few things I've realised this lunar New Year:
1. I hate Karaoke
2. I've tried to like karaoke but I still hate it
3. Don't make me try and like karaoke

My God, it's Valentine's Day on monday! Time for girls to give disapproving stares at girls holding bouquets of flowers larger than hedges, snigger at boys carrying blow-up doll sized teddy bears and tsk at how silly couples pay for expensive v-day packaged dinners, AND THEN, at the end of it all, to say to your girlfriend:
"He better remember!"

Ok, Good Night
