I have been catching up girlfriends of late.
A girl's day out is amazingly Theraputic
Saturday- Spa Day!
My friend Siew Ling had an official opening of her Spa and nail boutique.
YES! If any of you need Mani and Pedicures!
88 CLUB STREET!- Nails Resort
Went down with Shifaa and Laita for finger food and drinks.
We met up with Sharon, who works across the road, for MORE drinks.
Then it was off to Wheelock for decadent mud pies and more girle goss.
Sunday- Spa Day Continues
Mom and I took to ferry to Batam where we spent an entire day pampering ourselves with a full body aromatherapy massage.
This was followed by an intensive cream treatment for our hair and head, back, shoulders and arm massage.
We left with jelly legs from complete and utter relaxation.
Monday- SPG Day
Janice was in town, so Sharon and I suggested going to East Coast for Seafood.
Shaz brought along these 2 American airforce pilots. Patrick and Eric.
It was Good fun.
I'm usually not into the whole SPG scene but I actually throughly enjoyed myself.
(I think I'm a closet case :)
Patrick is a Doctor by profession and Eric's and aeronautical Engineer.
Stimulating converstation followed by drink at the Hyatt after.
Tuesday- Cousin Day
Cousin Bernie and I had dinner after I got off from CommuniAsia.
Had first Thai followed by drinks at New Asia Bar at the Swissotel.
The view from New Asia is breathtaking.
We did a Lost in Translation and sat on a cleopetra-like sofa next to the floor to celing windows, which gave us a magical birds eye view of the city landscape.
With our full plate of strawberries and cream, Caipirina and Sour Apple Martini,
we chatted the night away.
Wednesday- Superlatives' Day
Christine had the day off, so we had lunch at Sake Sushi at Wheelock.
Talk, talk, talk....about her wedding plans, decorations, seating arrangements.
Borders for a quick book/magazine browse.
Progressed on to Far East for a spot of shopping, stopping by a hair salon so she could blow her hair straight and I could neaten up my bangs.
Home.
Called Pam up for a chat.
(Which was cut short, cause Dad called from Sabah for mom, and the old foggies were at it for a good 45mins.)
I MISS YOU PAM!
Will call again soon!
Pictures from Saturday!!
Shifaa and her NEW CAR!
Girls having a laugh at the Spa
Shifaa at Indochine
Laita and Jo at Inodchine
MUD PIE!
